the winners, but there is more: Participate at the presentations and workshops put together
for you during the day, take home ideas, make new contacts, meet and greet clients and colleagues.
After all - the WorldMediaFestival has been created to support the exchange of ideas and to
inspire new creative media solutions. You are very welcome to participate (winner or not,
entrant or not) at these WorldMediaFestival-events.

TV has been transformed: From a simple monitor to an interactive media centre.
TV consumption is changing rapidly - from just viewing broadcast channels to thousands
of satellite programmes - the content still remains linear. IP TV and VOD solutions, on
the other hand, are mainly using PCs or Tablets. Does VOD stay away from the bigger TV
screen? The presentation considers and demonstrates current Smart TV technology like Red
Button TV and TV Apps, and asks: what does this mean for content providers and TV
spots?
Norman Schlomka has more than 20 years' experience of IT-based video and media solutions,
including his current position as managing director of VITEC GmbH.
